Willpower and Weight Loss: 12 weeks to a new relationship with food and your body

Weight loss is two-fold. First, you have to have an eating plan. Secondly, you have to have the willpower to stick to the eating plan so you can successfully lose weight. This 12 week program is unique in that it addresses both.

Weekly meetings with your coach.
Daily accountability via text or email.

Weeks 1-4 you learn mental skills that set you up for long term success. Learn how to change your bad habits and start thinking of weight loss and healthy eating differently.

Week 5 we implement an eating plan customized for you. We’ve laid the groundwork for you to be able to stick to the plan and know what to do if you happen to get off track.

Weeks 5-12 you are losing weight while continuing to learn more mental skills to change thought patterns and increase willpower by identifying your self-sabotaging thoughts (that inner voice that makes it OK to order the cheeseburger instead of the grilled chicken).

Thoughts like:
I deserve this meal for the terrible week I’ve endured.
I could eat the whole thing but I’ll just have one slice.
I lost 2 lbs this week and I don’t weigh in again for 6 days. I can afford to eat this.
I swear I will start my diet tomorrow.

If you have self-sabotaging thoughts such as these this program is for you!
If you constantly tell yourself you’ll start your diet tomorrow this program is for you!
If you have that voice in your head that tells you not to eat something and you give into it more often than not, this program is for you!

What clients are saying…

What makes the Willpower and Weight Loss program different from all the other weight loss programs you have tried?

For me following a weight loss program focused on the food that you eat and the portions and not the mental aspect of why you overeat and  can’t stop. Or eating when you’re stressed, tired or angry.  Or sometimes over eating to the point of being physically sick.  This program focuses  on the why and how you can overcome these habits. I’ve learned skills that have help me achieve  yoyo dieting by controlling  my  overeating.

What was your biggest takeaway from the program?

There are many takeaways from this program but I think the biggest one was stopping before I put food in my mouth and asking myself are you hungry.  It’s almost automatic for me now. If the answer is yes you are hungry I try to  choose a healthier option.  If it’s something that’s not the healthiest choice I’m able to try it then get rid of it. I Enjoy what I am eating and  try to be mindful of every bite. I have to add another huge takeaway for me was learning its ok to throw food away.  It’s not wasteful.  It’s more beneficial for the food to be in the trash than on my body.

Lifexcel Carolina has been such a blessing in my life!
I have to say I was kind of skeptical about the Willpower and Weight Loss program I was put on, but it has really changed the way I think about food. I feel more in control of my eating habits and decisions than I’ve ever been in my life!
This program, coupled with the personal training sessions I do there, has me at the lowest weight I’ve been since college!
And I’m not just another appointment to them. They care about me as a person!
Thanks so much to all the wonderful people at Lifexcel Carolina for the wonderful things you do!
