As a licensed professional clinical and Christian counselor I am dualy trained to work with individuals, marriages, and families from an individual and systemic perspective. I am uniquely trained to integrate spirituality with clinical counseling, thus, applying treatment from a holistic lens. As three tripartite beings, (mind, body and spirit), I consider the interconnection of ones emotional, spiritual, and physical health as an approach to wellness. Currently, I am pursing a PhD in Health psychology, and will be the second clinician certified in Family Centered Treatment in the state of North Carolina. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families, utilizing a depth -oriented approach to help individuals connect their past with current behaviors, patterns, and cycles within themselves and their interpersonal relationships. My clinical approach includes: Family Centered Treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, guided imagery, and Structural family therapy to develop internal security and connection with the authentic self. Specialties include: marital and family issues, women issues, emotional eating, spiritual growth, relational issues, trauma.
